Just like at home, this cake is prepared from top-quality ingredients. Four days are indeed necessary to create this tasty cake. For the first day, the raisins are macerated in Rum, an alcohol that gives the special taste of candied fruit cake. The next day is devoted to the dough, prepared in several batches so as not to crush the fruits. This day is also reserved for the meticulous hand molding and baking of the cake in traditional wooden molds.
