The pancake was chosen because only a few ingredients are needed for the dough, which makes it a very simple and inexpensive dish.
Ingredients of the pancake batter for 4 people:
- 250G of flour
- 3 eggs
- 1/2L of milk
- 50G of melted butter
Preparation of the pancake dough
- Mix the flour and eggs
- Add the milk little by little, mixing with a whisk
- Add the melted butter
- Let the pancake batter rest for at least 2 hours
- In a very hot and slightly oiled frying pan put 1/2 ladle of pancake batter and let it cook for about 2 minutes, turn the pancake over and let it cook for a minute
You can flavor your pancake batter according to your tastes: orange blossom, vanilla, with a little rum or calvados
