The recipe for real Gingerbread
Gingerbread is a delight for gourmets. Its sweetness and flavors directly echo the Christmas holidays. Prepare your own!
Ingredients of the gingerbread for 6 people:
- 160g of flour
- 160g of honey
- 60g of butter
- 1 to 2 tablespoons. gingerbread spice coffee machine
- 7g of bicarbonate
- 70g of milk (grams!)
- 60g brown sugar
Preparation of gingerbread
- Preheat your oven to 155°C.
- Melt your butter and let it cool. Meanwhile, heat the honey over a very low heat, as soon as it is liquid, remove it from the heat.
- Sift: flour + gingerbread spices + baking soda.
- In a container, mix: honey + milk. Then add the butter. Then finally, the sieved powders. Mix well. Finish by adding the brown sugar.
- Butter and flour your gingerbread pan. Pour your device into it.
- Put in the oven for 1 hour of cooking, in the rotating heat position. From 45 minutes, you can optionally cover your gingerbread with a sheet of aluminum foil if you are afraid that it will brown too much (I have never covered it). But be careful: if you open your oven door too early, depending on the oven, it is possible that your gingerbread will fall back and hollow out in the middle. This operation must therefore take place as late as possible in the cooking and above all, do it quickly!!
- When your gingerbread is baked, take it out of the oven, let it cool in its mold, on a wire rack.
- Store your gingerbread in a not too hot room, for several days, wrapped in baking paper for example.
